As a partner with FRM, Bob helps clients address all major aspects of their financial lives and provides the roadmap needed to achieve their financial goals. He develops and implements financial strategies for individuals, families and closely-held business owners. He seeks to be comprehensive, responsive, and educational in all facets of his practice. He listens carefully and effectively combines creativity with discipline. Bob specializes in financial and estate planning, retirement planning, investments, and insurance and has 23 years of experience as a financial advisor.

Bob has 30 years experience in public accounting, investment banking, and publicly held corporations.  He began his accounting career with KPMG and then served 7 years as Controller for Cook Industries, a commodities merchandising firm.  He served as CFO of the Union Planters Investment Banking Group for 10 years. Bob also worked with a global transportation company as Managing Director of the Memphis office servicing all North American financial functions.

Bob holds an accounting degree from Mississippi State University.  He has been active on the boards of Crichton College (Chairman), Christian Psychological Center, Evangelical Christian School, The Baddour Center, Young Life (Chairman), and First Evangelical Church (Deacon Chairman).  He and his wife, Carole, have 3 married children and 8 grandchildren. Bob and Carole enjoy reading, traveling, church ministry work, and spending time with family.  

Bob is a founding shareholder of Old Growth Capital, LLC, which owns Arete Wealth Management, the FINRA registered Broker-Dealer with which he is affiliated.  He maintains securities, insurance, and CPA licenses.
